Is tonight the episode where Snooki gets punched by some guy?  I am way too old for this show, but I still can't wait to watch it.  I love, love, love my trash t.v.!

It is - but, I heard that they cut out the actual punching scene they showed on the previews.

I heard that mtv received a bunch of complaints about violence against women, and how appalling the clip was. Supposedly, they won't show the actual punch, but it will be apparent what went on, and the aftermath of the incident will be shown.

I can't argue with that rationale.   I do love trashy t.v., but she was the victim of a crime and that type of violence is a real problem, esp in the age group the show is marketed to.

Now, I reread my OP and it sounds like I can't wait to see her get punched.  Yuck.  Not the case at all.  I just love watching the Jersey Shore stereotypes.

I don't know but I'm absolutely fascinated by Guidos/Guidettes that it's hard not to watch that show or better yet...shows making FUN of that show!

They are not from the Jersey Shore.  Most of them are not even from New Jersey.  I'd rather it were called "a-holes in a beach house".
