Hello Mama! I know, I cannot believe the countdown is getting so low! I am SO excited!

Yes, Alice and I are doing a gift exchange to celebrate Day 99!  Our little girls are exchanging something, as well as the Mommies!

yes very much the most PG that I have ever been. judging by my m/s this morning i would say that I am still currently successfully PG. Time is actually going pretty fast! That is a good thing!

NT scan is in 13 days on the 30th.....for some reason I am petrified that i will go to the scan thinking that I am PG and will find out that there is no HB. Yikes. I am secretly hoping that the Dr who does the NT scan will be able to tell the gender (but I know that most of the time they don't) but I am impatient and want to know NOW....not in February.

Next appt is 1/6 with my dr. That will be my 1st appointment with her...and I can't wait. The nurses and everyone else are great, but I just need to see her....she puts me at ease. Especially since she has had 4 m/c of her own!

I still think it is so crazy that you dont see your Dr until you are so far along.  I think that in itself would drive me crazy.  But they must have a method to their madness right.

The NT scan is going to be SOOOO exciting!  If you are anything like me, you will be scared and nervous up until that day (Ok I wasnt sleeping the last 2 or 3 nights before my scan) but as soon as you get in there and they get your little one on the screen, it is the biggest relief ever!  And being able to see him/her so clearly, and getting so big is an amazing thing.

Who knows, they might be able to give you a guess at the sex by then.  Mine did, and they were right.  They didnt even say "we think" they said they knew, then said they were about 95% positive! You might be able to leave there knowing if you are having a daughter or a son!

Have you started to think of room ideas for both?

Not really....Im not letting myself get that far a head of the game yet! I figure once we hit 2nd tri then I will go bananas! I do know that I want to do a gender specific room...no unisex for me. And we talked about painting stripes on the walls....but thats about it.

How is your nursery coming? I dont think that I have heard ANYTHING about it yet!?!

I totally understand where you are coming from.  I think I looked at a few websites before the NT scan but nothing serious until we knew for sure.

Our nursery is coming along really well.  It is painted Sage green and we put up this tree

This is our Crib

Our dresser is a full wall unit that has the dresser inthe middle and one tall bookshelf on either side... should be done this weekend (Its the one thing DH is building)

and this is our chair, it has the matching ottoman

too beautiful! Its sweet that Dh is building something for the nursery! We already have furniture because my SIL gave us hers. They have 4 kids but only used it for 1 pg.....we have a bookcase, crib, changing table, and glider and ottoman. The only thing we need is a chest or dresser which will be easy to find because all the furniture is white!
