My family knows I'm expecting but not the gender. I blurted out I was pregnant so I want a creative way to tell the gender. The only thing I could come up w/ is: frame u/s pics & poem/riddle or buy a blue onesie & putting something on the front. Any other ideas?
Re: Gender Announcement Ideas
We fnd out next week. We will be wrapping the gender appropriate baby outfit for my mom to unwrap on Christmas. I have also heard of people cutting into cake or cupcakes with either blue or pink filling. Another bumpie on here got to her family's house and had on a tshirt that said "It's a boy".
GL and have fun!
That's the cutest idea I've heard yet!

Somebody awhile ago posted these cake balls: https://www.bakerella.com/red-velvet-cake-balls/
So what i'm going to do, hopefully for Christmas, is make them in white cake but put food coloring in it to make them pink or blue. Then on Christmas i'm going to give one to all of my family members and ask them to bite into them at the same time. I think it'll be cute!
We told our families and friends that they would have to look at our registry to figure it out.
The only thing on the registry was a bib saying I am not a BOY.
We added things after that but the family though it was really funny (oh and my mom thought it was a good way to have the family figure out how to use the registry.
This, along with the sparkling grape juice idea are two of the cutest ones I've heard yet. I may be borrowing this one! So cute!!! Do you plan on dipping the cake balls in white or milk chocolate? I bet either one would be delicious.
Where did you find the bib? Did you find any that said I'm not a girl? Just in case! :O)
I LOVE this!
I plan on dipping it in milk chocolate. I'd be too afraid the white chocolate would show the color through before they bite into it.
We decorated our Christmas tree in all "blank" (pink or blue, just in case there are any spies on here)! I wrote ?It?s a _____? on thick ribbon with silver sharpie and wrapped it around the tree in addition to writing it on the Christmas ball ornaments, added pink or blue candy canes, and so on. It turned out really cute! I will post after we tell the family!
That would so work but my tree is a pink valentine. Really cute idea. All the replies are really cute ideas.
