Pregnant after a Loss

Back from growth ultrasound

So at my appointment Monday my doctor was concerned that my fundal height hasn't really changed in the past few weeks and ordered a growth ultrasound.

I had it this afternoon and baby is just fine, just likes to scare us.  Her heartrate was 160 and she's weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces (the tech said to allow 1 pound of leeway, so she could be between 6 pounds 8 ounces and 7 pounds 8 ounces).  The tech was having a hard time getting some measurments, apparently baby girl is squished and stubborn.  And her head is very low, woo hoo!  As of Monday I was still 1 cm and her head was high, now it's low. I'll take what I cna get!  I'm hoping for more change on Monday!

  • Great progress!!!
  • Sounds like your little girl is doing great!
  • that all sounds wonderful! Fundal height measurements are especially not accurate at this point in the pregnancy. My MW doesn't measure past 35 weeks.

How are you feeling?  Are you making any progress?

  • ok I see where you posted about your progress.  That is looking good.  dialation is not as important as effacement and station.  It all sounds very promising.
