Awesome! I am gonna be switching from medicaid to the insurance my DH's new job offers probably some time mid-March... and I am so worried that the insurance is gonna be awful and we're gonna end up paying arms and legs. I hope it's awesome like yours!
That's pretty freaking good for these days! All my prenatal care is covered 100%, I have to pay a $750 delivery fee that covers vaginal delivery or c-section which I thought was pretty decent! I guess it still is compared to what some other plans charge.
My deduct is high $2900 (my company doesn't allow a choice in deductibles) so I started making payments last month. I have to pay $625/mth from Nov-Feb for my OB visits & delivery charges of $2500. Then I will get billed from the hospital, pediatrician, anesthesiologist, ect. until my deduct is met then I pay 10%.
That's pretty good. I have to pay $40 total. Shocking eh? But I'm doing a home birth with a midwife who is 100% covered by my insurance. I had to pay $10 for the first pregnancy confirmation appt. Then $10 for each of the 3 post natal appointments.
I had a bit of a scare though because my husband's company was bought out and the insurance changed. The new insurance tried to say pregnancy was a preexisting condition and not cover it. But they are now thank goodness!

So you are very lucky.

Congrats on the good coverage!
