me too-- but it's so awkward to buy jewelry for someone else. I thought maybe the bottom 2 circles would symbolize my DS's-- cheesy, huh?

yeah-- as soon as I ordered it I thought oh sh!t, what if she's counting on cash?

  • It is very pretty, but personally, I hate lariats, they feel like they are choking me.  I had to return the one that I had.

yeah, I always want to get our nanny something bc she means a lot to us, but in the end I know she needs the cash.

I do get her something small -- this year I got her a keychain with her/DS pic on it from Winkflash. Note that my nanny is elderly and she would likely want a keychain of my kid...lol.

ours is a college student, so I think she's okay cash-wise, but I know exactly what you mean!

  • I would really like it, but I think they prefer cash (at least any former nanny I have ever polled).  I usually buy mine some sort of small gift, but the main gift is the money.
