First night w/no swaddle - wish me luck!

I'm really unsure about this (whether he's ready) but he's been fighting it and fussing when I swaddle him sometimes lately. As soon as I put him down he flung his arms out in airplane position

 That's where they are now and he's asleep at the moment - I hope he stays that way!!!!!!!!

This is good to hear b/c if he is up all night I may cave and put him back in a swaddle pronto :P

good luck! I didn't unswaddle my twins (or Griffin) until just recently- around 5.5mo They loved it too much and slept too well - i had no desire to rock the boat.  They did just OK the first couple nights without the swaddle- and now are used to it.
