If you continued to test after the first initial Positive, how long did you continue to stay positive? I didn't know anything about temping until coming here, but it was too late in my cycle to start. I tried for about a week and was getting crazy numbers, I think I was maybe getting a cold. But anyways, so I don't have temps to fall back on. After reading Shell's peas, I see that your body can get ready to O, but then doesn't and tries again. Would you continue to get a pos every day during that time or would you get a neg in between? TIA:)
Re: Those who used OPKs
I've never gotten more than two positives in a row. It's not normal to get more than that. If you were to surge, then not O and surge again, you'd have negatives inbetween the positives
Also, if you have PCOS, you can get false positives on opks.

Some really sensitive OPKs can give you several positives in a row. I've gotten three in a row with Answer brand, but the last one was slightly less positive than the first, if that makes any sense.
If you geared up to O and didn't, there should be negative OPK(s) in between.
This is the same brand I am using and its the exact same thing!! I got what I thought was a pos Thurs night (but I don't think it was), I got a definite pos Friday night (test line darker than control), a lighter pos sat, didn't test yesterday and a lighter pos today (test line same as control). I'll try again later today and see if I get a neg.
