fu re watery discharge

I posted yesterday asking about watery discharge because I was concerned about leaking amniotic fluid.  I know some other people were having the same issue.  I was able to see my doctor today and it turns out I am not leaking af (thank goodness) but do have a yeast infection.  So, definitely worth getting checked out if you are experiencing this.

Were you itchy at all? Was there a weird smell? Or was it just plain ol' discharge?

I am not at all itchy.  It's not odorless, but it's not an offensive smell, and you have to really try to smell it to smell it.

Good to know. I've always thought that yeast infections tended to cause itchiness and discharge with a bad odor.

Yeah, this is my first yeast infection, but that's what I always thought too, and so I didn't even think that that's what it could be.  Anyway, I am just relieved it's not something more serious!

Did your doctor give you any meds???  I might have one and am curious what they had you do.

My doctor said monistat 7 was safe to use, and that I should use that - it's available over the counter.  She said that monistat 3 and 1 were too concentrated.

just curious... How bad was the discharge???

 I tent to have a small wet spot everytime I got to the bathroom and occasionally I feel extra wet down there but its not all the time. I can whip before i pee and its a little wet but nothing more then during ovulation time. 

Just curious what you experienced, to see if I could be in the same boat or just a little extra moist... Sounds so lovely doesnt it : )

Hey - I've had discharge throughout that has been a very small spot (smaller than a dime) and thickish white.  The watery discharge was maybe a little bigger than the size of a silver dollar, and I got it a few times over the past week or so but not every day.

Thank you... Mine is more like your original and I was just at dr. a little over a week ago and they said all looked good, so I think ill just go with it unless it gets worse... I have appt in two weeks.
