I always said I would never let him have chicken nuggets...then he got to the table food age and now we do them all the time. He is very picky, so I just get what I can in him. ) I already do so many things I swore I wouldnt...some times I just need to make it through the day. Lol.
We get the Mickey Mouse shaped ones from Costco......same as you are describing: white meat breaded with whole grain.
My pedi is a mother of 5 and she recommended these to us!
It was my post about 20-25 down saying that daycare feeds the children nuggets and french fries for lunch. I don't give Ella processed meat usually so this was sort of a problem for me. I say everything in moderation, BUT, she doesn't usually get fried foods YET. I know once she hits two, I'm going to be more lenient. I'm concerned that she is going to get food like this everyday at daycare, not just once in a while.

this wasnt to take your post out of context. I agree our daycare has crap on their menu too, like pizza rolls. I was just saying that I at home do choose chicken nuggets. But still agree that many of daycares choices could be healtier.
lol, I didnt see this, i just posted similar! I am also not against it! I get them at whole foods, and I know they are fine, but sometimes, when we are out... I get him chickfila!
I think some are worse than others. We eat plain chicken at home, but it is natural chicken, not highly processed.
I like chicken nuggest from some places, but not from KFC for example.
DS gets grilled cheese and chicken nuggets - guess I'm a bad mama!
NO ONE said people who feed kids chicken nuggets is a bad mom. So PLEASE do not take it that way. I have just chosen to keep DS away from them so far because I have food issues. I am going to try and do everything I can from him having the weight issues I do and that means no chicken nuggets or french fries as well as some other foods for a year or two more. But I know plenty of moms who give their kids these foods and I don't judge at all. After all my 1 yr old will eat other foods if he didn't you can be darn sure I would give him chicken nuggets.
Alright, so I guess I'm not posting about chicken nuggets again, the point of my post is that it gets to be a bad habit when it's everyday daycare is serving unhealthy stuff, I didn't mean anyone was a bad parent for giving their kids chicken nuggets yeesh.
Re: Wow so many Chicken Nugget haters here!
Where is this post???

Everything in moderation I say. And they are quick which is good as we usually do not get in the door til 6.
