I loved it. I thought DD would set through it better than she did but, it was 9:00 am when we went. It was a little scary but, all disney movies have something like that in them.
I did think it was very cute, and so funny in places. DH thought I was crazy for laughing. DD did enjoy it, but she just seemed a tad put off at certain parts. Probably because it was her first time in a theater.
I don't necessarily think all Disney movies have something quite like that though, at least not all the new ones. I don't think the thistles in Tinkerbell really count. And Cars? I can't think of anything really scary in that... And those are the ones that my kids really watch.
We went friday night and DD loved it. There are some scary bits with the demons, but DD sat on my lap and was just fine. (usually she's a scaredy cat!)
On another note: I can't believe there is actually controversy over this movie.
What's the controversy??
It's on CNN (dh is an avid watcher). I guess some people are upset because the princess in the movie is from African decent. Truthfully, I didn't even notice from the previews (and trailer that we watched). Some people are always going to complain about something.
Re: Princess & The Frog
Jackson really enjoyed it and was not scared.
There were moments I thought he might be, but he wasn't.

We are taking Preston on Thursday. I can't wait.

This, exactly. I thought Noah might have questions afterward, but he didn't think twice about it.
