Hello, So I had a chemical pregnancy last week. I went to the obgyn, got an ultrasound, nothing in there. It was horrible, very emotional going from thinking you are pregnant to thinking you are having a mc in the same week.

Anyways, my OBGYN said that since it was a chemical pregnancy I can start ttc right away. She said that most people miss chemical pregnancys and get pregnant again right after. My DH is a doctor also, and he said the same thing. what is everyone elses thoughts on this? I am still heartbroken, but I think that ttc would help cheer me up?

Sorry for your loss. I think only you know when it is right to start trying. I was looking forward to trying again. It gave me hope. GL to you. I hope you get to move on to PgAL soon.

I had a c/p and started ttcing again right away but i didn't get pg immediately, so (not to be a _bitch) try not to get your hopes so high that they're completely devastated if this next cycle isn't it for you.

Welcome to the board.  I am so sorry for your loss.  I agree with PP- only you and your H can decide when the time is right for you, emotionally.  Whatever you decide, I hope your TTCAL journey is short and sweet.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a missed m/c, and my doctor told me I'm statistically more likely to get pregnant again afterward, which is why she only wants me to wait one cycle. I'm worried about getting my hopes up too much, though, since it took 7 months the first time. So I'm not banking on anything this winter.
