My DH got laid off for the winter last week (he works construction)...so he is now a SAHD for the next couple months.  Today is his first day alone with the girls...and so far so good (I am assuming, since I didn't receive any frantic phone calls yet)....

Good luck to him.  My husband did it for a week when our nanny got sick.  I was home at lunch but it wasnt long enough to help.  I think by Fri, he had enough.  I guess a week alone with them was a lot for him (they were just 3mths at the time).  But at least now he completely understands how hard it really is.

Good luck!  DH still hasn't done more than 3 hours.

They are going to have a blast! My hubby is a full time college student and a SAHM and he and my girls have a blast together! GL to your hubby! I am sure he will do great!

Good for him, most my DH has done is 2 hours and he admits he couldn't handle doing it all day like I do!  I hope he enjoys it!

The good news is that your girls are most likely to young to hide the phone...LOl/jk.  I'm sure dad is doing awesome!!!
