If your 3 yr old has a wooden blocks set, do they play with it a lot? If so, any particular one you'd recommend. I was thinking of getting this for DS, but there are 8 bagillion sets to choose from on amazon!
Loooooove Haba fantasy blocks. They're so pretty that it's not annoying to have them lying around the house.
DS hasn't been so into his lately because he's discovered magnetic building sets, but I bet if we got them out again (they're out of sight right now, so you know he's forgotten about them) he'd be all over them.

Re: Wooden blocks set for 3 yr old?
We have the Haba fantasy blocks (like 5 sets). DD gets a set for her birthday every year and she plays with them all the time. She will be 3 in March.
Miles like to play with them as well.

I recommend these:

foam blocks hurt less when they throw them! hahahaha.
And all my kids still play with blocks...quite often.
