quad screen results

i posted this on 0-3 & 3-6 too... any help is appreciated.

my friend is 17 1/2 weeks and just got a call from her Dr that her levels from the quad screen, more off the spina bifida, was elevated to a 3, instead of the cut off 2.5.  Did anyone have this and what was the outcome from you and your LO?

Mine came back as a high risk for spina bifida.  We decided to do an US and amnio.  The baby wasn't in a good position to give us any answers from the US so we went ahead and did the amnio without question.  Amnio says that everything is fine.  Spina bifida is something that can often be corrected in utero.
