Avent Bottle Sterilizer

I just spoke with an avent customer rep.  and she told me that all of the avent bottle sterlizer were BPA free and always have been.  I bought mine back in 2006.  I hate questioning it but do you think that is true?  Would there be a way to look at the sterlizer and see that it is?

Not 100% sure but I think there is a symbol on the bottom. My BFF called about hers and was told to look for a certain symbol that manufacturers put on the bottom. Sorry I can't remember what it was.

Google says this is the symbol. dunno for sure, though.

Found it!  Triangle with 1, 2, 4,5, 6 should be ok.
