Horrible Night

We had a bad night...Caroline was up until about 2:45 this morning...after being awake for HOURS and HOURS...

She must be having a growth spurt, because all she did was nurse, scream and poop...rinse and repeat. I changed her diaper more times than I could count. She was constantly nursing, no matter what we tried, she only wanted to nurse. We did gas drops just in case...but she was only happy when she was nursing...anytime I took her off, she screamed bloody murder. Poor baby...

So, I let her sleep until 7:45 this morning. I feel so guilty, because the pedi said not to let her go more than 4 hours at night. I woke up at the 4 hour mark, and she was sleeping so soundly, I didn't have the heart to wake her up so I let her sleep another hour.

I woke her up at 7:45, and changed her diaper, nursed her, changed her again, and now she is back asleep. Not sure what to make of that, but I ate breakfast in peace, and now I'm going back to bed too ;-)
