Pocket Midwife? Can I Keep Her??

I just wanted to say that the midwife I had today for my CTG (to monitor the baby) was just the sweetest ball of sunshine and I want to keep her in my pocket! I honestly wish I could request her to be with me in delivery, hehe.

Not that I have ever really come across a midwife who was negative, but she seemed to take a bit of extra time to explain some things to DH and me, and was just really upbeat. I'm honestly thinking about writing a nice letter to the hospital because she left me with such a good feeling today.

I'm sure I must sound like total "puppies & rainbows" cheesy...but I do think it makes a total difference on your experience when you come across people like this in your life.

  • LOL I understand! Before I switched insurance I had a NP that used to do my regular yearlys and she was just so great I just wanted to go 'will you be my best friend?'  Smile

  • You really should write that letter.  When I worked at the hospital it really made my day when the nursing supervisor would call me into her office to give a letter written by a patient or family member.
