39+ weekers, sore throat & stuffy nose?

i just noticed this the past few days...i suddenly have a really sore throat and stuffy nose. i was worrying that i'm coming down with a cold..but then i read this... (sorry i can't make it a clicky from my DH's laptop)

anyone else having this? i have had stuffy nose in the past through 3rd tri but not with a sore throat..

Well I am not 39+ weeks, but I am in the third trimester. I am currently struggling with a cold just like that. Well a bacterial infection in my throat actually. They put me on 1500mg of amoxicillin a day, with tylenol, and mucinex 400mg. It has helped some. The fever has broken after three days and cold chills are gone with it. My throat is now sore and my body hurts all over from coughing, but I still think I am improving if I can whip this congestion! Good Luck

Only 32 weeks, but I awoke on Wednesday with a killer sore throat that has gone away and been replaced by a stuffy nose.  I am guessing it's a cold.  Just drinking tons of fluids and using my neti pot twice a day.  Hang in there!

 I have exactly this too - not the store throat but the congestion. I got a cold around 36 weeks but now it just won't go away. So annoying.
