Upper right quadrant pain

Anyone else having this? I'm not sure what it is, but it hurts.

Re: Upper right quadrant pain

  • It can be a symptom of pre-eclampsia/HELLP syndrome.  I'd call my drs office tomorrow.

  • Thank you. I did not know if it would be understood as my upper right or what the doctor sees at the upper right. But it is my upper right...Where my gal bladder used to be...

I have pain there...also where my gallbladder used to be. I have an ultrasound next Tuesday to check my bile duct.  My pain is a constant dull ache with occasional sharp shooting pains.

Edited because I said binary duct not bile duct, LOL.

  • Is it inside or on the skin? Because sometimes when he's growing he'll make my skin stretch and it makes the skin on my right side only hurt. Idk, just thought I'd throw that in!
  • The upper right is definitely a sign of Pre-E, I'd give the Dr a call.

  • I had an ultrasound done because they thought it was my liver or gall bladder, but it is just my rib cage hurting and nothing more than that.  It may be nothing if you don't have any other symptoms like vomiting, gas, etc.
  • upper right quadrant pain is a sign of a liver problem.
