Watched a special on St. Jude's Hospital last night

I used to watch these before I had Nate and it was sad, but now I can barely handle seeing it. It's not just what the kids are going through during cancer treatment, but now I look at the parents and my heart aches for them. I remember watching my baby get stuck with needles and get medical treatments and just wishing it was me instead and wishing I could take the pain away from him SO BADLY. I was sobbing for an hour watching the stories and listening to the parents talk about it. I know it's a different situation, but I feel like I understand some of their pain after what we went through with Nathan and I just want to give them a big hug and tell them it'll be OK.
