Membrane stripping... FAIL

Yeah I'm calling this whole membrane stripping a big fat fail. I had it done yesterday at my appointment. I'm just glad that I'm a part of this community and that I was prepared that it probably wouldn't work and that many ladies have it done a few times. Because my MIL had her membranes stripped at 38 weeks with DH and she loves to tell that story and how it put her into labor. But sadder than that... Now I have to go to WORK. I wish I was having a baby today instead... and I still have so long to go!!! ... whine over! Have a good day Ladies!

Seems your bun has some baking to do. Try not to think of it as a fail though...there's a reason obviously that it didn't work, so hang in there.

I get the joy of it at my appointment Monday, so being that TODAY is my due date, I hope conditions are at least favourable by then, hehe.

I had mine stripped yesterday and was just about to call fail on it as well. I'm not sure if we should this early yet though. I got up to pee, and when I whiped there was alot of discharge and it contained some blood--I'm trying to figure out if it was my plug or not. I know this could mean nothing but they say that you could experience labor signs within 24-48 hours of being stripped. I'm doubtful that I'll be in labor today, but I'm still holding onto a teensy bit of hope!
