    no way...I think it's all rescue groups and shelters.  We found our mutts there and they were from a rescue group!

    Oh no way!  We found our pound pup on Petfinder and went to that no-kill animal shelter to get him.  He was about 6mos old and was found wandering the roads with his brother&sister.  Many of the shelters put their adoptees on the site I think.

    No, we actually found our dog through Petfinder.  Our puppy's Mom was a rescue that happened to be pregnant.  The puppies were to die for so we adopted through the local shelter that posted their pets on petfinder.

    We got our baby through there from a rescue shelter, they took her from a city kill shelter who found her living on the streets.
