My sister is pregnant and registering...I feel like it's been forever since I used any of the baby stuff...could you list the things you couldn't live without
Seriously, someone got me a huge pediatric med kit that had all the necessities in it. That thing came in so handy in the middle of the night when the pedi recommended saline drops and other things. I didn't have to go to the store, it was all there.
It isn't a necessity, but I loved the Ultimate Crib Sheet. It makes changing the crib bedding so much easier, especially in the middle of the night, if need be.
Papisan chair - could not live without it for either kid. Tons and tons of bibs, sound machine, Avent bottle warmer, Avent microwave sterilizer with DD since we did not feel our dishwasher was getting the residue off the bottles), Dr. Browns WIDE bottles, mobile for over the changing table - we had the Lion from Infantino, flannel and jersey knit sheets...easier to get on the mattress and just softer, Colgate foam crib mattress (it does not feel like foam and cannot be bought at any chains, check out their website, but it is super light so it is easier for changing at night when your child spits or a diaper leaks.) Costo wipes...cheaper and just as good as Huggies.
For toys - expensive, Laugh and Learn Home - cheap, simple stacking cups.
DH said his iPod to watch TV shows at 3 in the morning when bottle feeding, lol.
Jen - Mom to two December 12 babies
Nathaniel 12/12/06 and Addison 12/12/08
My Brest Friend if nursing. Super soft baby blankets and lots of them. Hooded towels, washcloths, baby wash, Boudreaux's Butt Paste, Infant's Tylenol, Motrin and Mylicon. Lap pads, changing pad covers, paci clips, bottles, bottle brush, bottle bag with ice pack, good diaper bag. Diapers, wipes, Diaper Champ and...most people will poo-poo this idea but a wipes warmer!
Re: What couldn't you live without?
What's scary is I have 3 young kids and can't think of a thing.
Yikes!
