Waiting for BRU to call me with news my crib is in stock..

We've been waiting since Sunday for Babies R Us to call us and tell us the warehouse has a shipment of the Crib we want for purchase. However,they don't allow you to purchase an item if it is not in stock. I put my name on a list to be contacted when the shipment is available, but no call yet. The question becomes do we keep waiting for the crib to come "in stock" or do we find another that we can order right away? We really like the one we registered for and I'm truly disappointed we can't get it yet. 

 Help?

First of all I do not understand their policy of not allowing you to order if not in stock -why can't they order it for us if we want something?  I am so annoyed with them right now bc my parents went online to buy the furniture for baby's room and BRU was charging $500 in delivery fee!!!

If it is the one you have your heart set on then wait.  But I am a nag so I would be calling every other day to remind them that they need to call me when it came in.

I am waiting on the same phone call. Is it for a Baby Cache set?
