Really??? I mean maybe it cost J&K that...but even if you changed the babies diaper 24 times a day, would it cost you $100 to diaper your baby?
They are doing a diaper drive here for the woman's shelter, which is a GREAT cause and I'll help out...but when I read that quote, I was a bit put off. Even during the short times I had 2 in diapers, it didn't cost me $100/week. I'm trying to think with wipes and cream if it was even that close.
Do you think they meant $100/month???
Re: "Diapers can cost a family more than $100/week"
This. And that's more a figure for formula/month than diapers.
If you buy them in the 8 pack at the mini mart. In some places here, there are no close by stores with good prices, so you have to spend $5 a day to get a little pack or you have to figure out how to get on a bus with a big pack from target, a baby, a stroller, ect. Still $100 a week is out of scope.
I spend about $30 a month on each kid. I just donated a bunch of stuff to a lady who is 19 and has 3 kids under 4 and one on the way. I could see where it could be a big expense for them.
DS was a champion pooper as a baby, and his record usage was 17 in one day.
As pp have said, gotta be in a month.
