So, we bought a portable dishwasher (Maytag EnergyStar), to make bottle washing and life in general easier. Just in the past couple washes the nipples and some of the bottles are coming out with it seems like a light film to them. I handwashed them all (which defeats the purpose of having a dishwasher), but I wondered if there was someway to prevent this? We are using the Dr. Brown's dishwasher baskets for all of the parts and putting them on the top rack, as well as the bottles. Any ideas?
Re: Dishwasher question
I don't, but just wanted to say your little guy is so cute! And that I wish I had a dishwasher... ;-)

I don't know of a way to avoid it...but man, I felt like I spent an hour a day washing bottles. It was terrible! I would always wash everything baby related after running them through the dishwasher.
I HIGHLY recommend drop ins....OMG they are so easy. And BPA free. You just have to wash the nipple...so we keep a small nipple brush right by the sink and use that in between each feeding. So we just have one bottle and one nipple right now.
