I just had my 1st consult with Dr. Davis on Monday and I am thrilled with his game plan for us. He is willing to do lots of additional testing that my other RE would not perform(clotting panel, autoimmune testing, etc) and he is switching my protocol. He is going to use co-culture and EPP. He thinks we have a good shot as we have done 4 IVFs and have been pg 3 times.
Anyway, I am wondering if anyone would be willing to share their history with me and possibly any tips about Cornell. I know Dr. Davis is the best RE out there for AMA so I guess it's our best shot.
We are from out of town and it will be a little stressful with the driving (esp. in the winter months) so we are going to think about it over the holidays. I am a little worried about the co-culture biopsy, too. They only do 6 appts. per day.....How difficult is it to get a biopsy scheduled?
Would appreciate any input. Thanks!
Ginger
Re: Cornell ladies.....
No experience with Cornell.... but just wanted to say that I am so glad you have a plan and can't wait for you to get your sticky BFP!
Good luck, honey; I'll be thinking of you!
Dr. Davis got me pregnant every time we cycled. I love him. Can't say enough good things about him. I'm sure you've heard that once you start cycling you won't see him much, but rest assured all the doctors are amazing and Davis is following your progress. Much like Santa.
I didn't do EPP or co-culture, so I can't help there, but you'll really be in terrific hands at Cornell. I love them. And adore Davis. I wouldn't have my family (2 girls) without him.
we could be twins! I got pg after IVF #4 with dr davis (LOVE him!) I did mdl/epp with co-culture. dr d's assistant (charmaine?) or his nurse should give you the number of the woman in charge of co-culture appts. you should schedule that straight away.
my blog sort of documents our journey. please feel free to contact me anytime. anytime!
good luck! and keep us posted.
