Surprise Sono!

Today I had my first appt with my regular OB, I'd been seeing a specialist to this point. I hadn't met the OB yet, as I just switched doctors. I was expecting the regular pap smear, labs, etc. Turns out, I'm up to date on my pap, so he was like "Well, I figured you'd like to see your baby, so how about a free sonogram?"

Needless to say, I love my new doctor.

Baby look amazing! You could see the arms and legs, and it woke up about half way through and started jumping all over the place. We even got a picture of a perfect footprint once it uncrossed it's legs. Heartbeat was 176bpm. It was the most amazing thing ever! Too bad hubby wasn't with me since I just thought it'd be a boring appointment.

Today was my due date for the baby I miscarried. This made today a lot less sad.

Wow, what a bittersweet appointment!

I think i'm going to take the day off on my angel's birthday.. its coming soon, less than an month away. =S
