Was 3rd tri always so stupid?

Let's see. For tonight we have:

Dumb "C/s so I don't have to be jealous of my friend" chick

"I am bleeding from a partial abruption, but I am still going to get on top of my husband and grind hard enough with him I'm afraid I smashed my baby" chick

And "I got into a car accident going 60mph while in my 3rd tri and am wondering if I should call my doc" chick

Has 3rd tri always been this dumb? Is it a recent phenomenon? Am I having a stroke?

I'm pretty sure yes.  We all had our share of stupidity, if I recall correctly.  It's brutal.

While there have always been stupid posters on all of the boards I think that the dynamic has changed in the past year. At one point, it seemed like most people on theknot/nest/bump were (stereotyping here...) educated, married and decently responsible. Now, it seems like more people are just finding thebump (without first having found theknot/nest) and it's bringing in more teenagers, and posters like you mentioned above.

All I remember from 3rd tri is hating every single person who went into labor while I was between 40 and 42 weeks. But I'd be willing to bet there were some idiots, too.

This part is very true.  It always seems like the ones who have "been through the system" so-to-speak are the better posters.  Well, they at least know to keep their mouths shut when they think something stupid!  LOL!

I checked it out of boredom and lost brain cells. I'll never get that time back. I don't remember such stupid posts  there when I was pregnant last time either. The C/S chick was hilarious.

Hahaha- I totally didn't read what I wrote before I typed it.  What I MEANT was that we all had stupid people whenever we were on our respective boards.  Not that WE were stupid!  Bwahahahaha!

I didn't read all the posts, but I caught a glimpse of someone who wrote a GBCN because of all the drama, and I think some people seriously need to just chill out.

I'm sure it was. When I was in 3rd tri I asked a question on 0-6 about recommended baby items to purchase for a friend's baby shower and was flamed. So I'm pretty sure the tri boards are always viewed as dumb/stupid by the baby/toddlers boards.
