Successful covert action

I went out with a group of girlfriends yesterday for a play and brunch.  I ordered the bloody mary bar, and got up to use the restroom, and secretly asked the waitress to replace the vodka shot with water. 

I felt very proud of myself. 

Of course, then one of the girls says, "I guess you're not pregnant!" in what seemed to be a way too obvious way (I just got married 3 months ago, damn it).   I think I'm overly suspicious, but if I found out another friend told her, I will be seriously pissed.
