First appt tomorrow...

Tomorrow is the big day, first appt with the doc.  I'm scared to death that there will be something wrong--like the yolk sac will be there, but no fetal pole...or maybe that it's all just in my head!  (Even though I keep peeing on damn sticks to confirm it to myself.) 

Hubby is coming with me, taking time off from studying for his surgery boards, so I'm hoping his presence will calm me a bit. 

I'm expecting an internal u/s, but am curious to know what I might see at just 7w 1d. Anyone have their u/s at that point?  What'd you see/hear?

We had our first at 7w2d - it wasn't internal either, although that was what I was expecting.  We saw the yolk salk and the "gummy bear" baby.  We also saw the HB (148bpm).

Oh, it wasn't internal?  Hmmm....the office didn't specify if it will actually be internal, I just assumed b/c it's early on.

 On a side note-- are you a SLP???

No, not internal to my surprise.  Yes, I am an SLP!
