I think this is a great idea.  Other baby sites have a Plus size and Pregnant type board.

I think it would get a lot of use too.  There are a lot of things plus size moms to be experience, positive and negative, that are different than others. 

I'd like it just to talk about plus size maternity clothes.  Thanks for the idea.

I totally agree.  It's great seeing all the cute little bumps on thinner girls, but I would love to see other moms that are around my size and see their bumps because it gives a point of reference for each of us I think and it's also nice to share the experiences we go through since we are starting out a little bigger than a lot of the women on here.

I guess my point is, even though I'm plus sized I don't really think I need another board to talk about it on. I can post here. I was just really asking out of curiosity because I don't think there is a need.

 

The nest has boards that I think are plain stupid. For instance 2 years ago there was a pregnant and drinking and a pregnant smokers board.  I never said this was a bad idea I just don't see a reason for it.

Sorry I barked at you LoL. I do honestly get sick of seeing posts like "I know I'm not supposed to be showing until 20 weeks but I was just SO SKINNY before I got pregnant that I'm pretty sure I'm showing now at 5 weeks...what do you guys think...here's a PIP to show you how skinny I am." I just think it would be nice to have a place you could post about plus size things like "when am I going to show" or plus size maternity clothes. I find some of the current boards stupid but I just don't lurk on them (ok yes I do) but yeah...that was my only point. :-)

No problem. I was actually looking at the OP'ers post about bump or bloat on another page. She looks at 30 wks how I literally look now at 9 wks. 5 wks ago I didn't eve have a bump. The second time around is just different. (sorry that was a tangent) Anyways,I really was just curious as to the reasoning behind it, I wasn't trying to say it was a bad idea.
