So I'm just going to go ahead and apologize in advance!

Do any of you ladies know what actually causes the bag of waters to break? Is it contractions, baby movements, or does it just spontaneously break (assuming that this isn't done by a medical professional)?

Incidentally, I do know that this only occurs naturally in a small percentage of women, but since I don't know what causes it, I thought I would ask you ladies! I feel like I should already know this...

No real answer from me but the way this little girl works I'm thinking she will stick a hand through soon enough and just crawl her darn way out.... O_o

I'd say its got to be kind of like a water balloon under pressure?
