update from 40 week appt... membranes stripped

So I just got back from my appointment and I'm 1.5 cm. and still 80% effaced.  She stripped my membranes and it was uncomfortable but not painful and not as bad as I thought it would be.  I have to go back in a half hour to have a NST to check LO and we set an induction date for the 15th.  But I go on Thurs. for ultrasound to check fluid levels and if it's low I would be induced that day.  At least there's an end in sight!

I can't believe there is an end in sight!! Lord...how did this happen so quickly!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!! I may ask my doc. today if they are going to strip my membranes.
