I ordered from Vons once. The delivery lady was not very gentle with them so the milk leaked, and eggs broke. I will not be ordering from them again. But that was just my experience.
Our local grocery store does this. You choose what you want online and for $15 they deliver. You could check the websites of some of your large local grocery stores. I know Amazon has some grocery items also.
Alice.com is a good site. You can get your toiletries, razors, etc from them and delivery is free. I know they have staple pantry items but I'm not sure about other food. Check it out, it's a good site.
Our Lowe's Foods does it...they charge $5.95 per order if you come through their drive through to pick it up. Not sure what they charge for delivery. I have done it a few times and it ROCKS.
We've used Lowes Foods many times (for pick up, not delivery, but it's still pretty easy b/c you just drive up and they bring out your groceries). I think Harris Teeter grocery stores also do this, but I haven't used them before.
Re: Ordering groceries online
amazon.com has a lot
check your local stores, in our area a few let you order online and pick up at store without getting out of your car (BEST THING EVER with 2 kids)

My sister swears by them. We don't have them in St. Louis.
