Morning Sickness Wives Tale

I heard a new wives tale that I've never heard before in regards to morning sickness. I'm so fascinated by them so I thought I would share in case you are too. "They say" (lol) that if you are sick in the morning you will have a boy, and if you are sick at night you will have a girl. My mother was sick at night for both pregnancies and she had two girls! My cousin was sick all day long for both of hers, and she had one boy and one girl, so who knows? Do you all know any cases that confirm / debunk this wives tale?

P.S. Don't worry, I don't actually believe these things, but I have fun playing with them anyway!

My first pregnancy I was sick off and on all day, though more at night, and I had a girl.  So far, this one is more sickness in the morning.

My sister was sick in the morning when she woke up and she had a boy, and my SIL was sick starting around 6 pm, and she is pregnant with a girl, so who knows... maybe there is some degree of truth to it!

Mine starts late morning and goes all d@mn day. Stops in the evening, then picks up full force at night. Sucks. However...with my first, I had NO m/s at all and had a girl.

My friend who is pg would get realy bad m/s in the evening and she just found out she is having a boy.

I didn't have any m/s with my first two and they are both boys.  With this one I'm miserable all day and night.  My SIL has m/s in the morning with her first 2 and they are boys, and she is PG now and has it all day long.  She's 15 weeks, so she doesn't know what they are having this time yet.

I was sick all day with DD and didn't have a hermaphrodite, so I don't think it works that way.

My sister says if you are sick all the time, you are having a girl. Mostly because she was sick all the time with both of hers and she had two girls.

My thoughts exactly!!! Either that or are you having one of each and they cancel each other out? lol!

I was not sick at all with my first and it was a boy. This time I am sick nearly all day long...especially the mornings and nights.
