So, this morning I went to have a growth u/s done to see if LO is bigger than she should be at this point. If she was big, the OB was going to possibly induce me this week. Well, it turns out that at an estimated 6 lbs 14 oz she is right on track. So, no induction for me.
Well, I thought I would be disappointed and that it would make this waiting game seem so much harder, but I'm really not disappointed. I think that I had some reservations about being induced and now I am just willing to wait and see what my body does on it's own. I, of course, still hope that I won't be overdue (I don't think anybody wants to go over their due date), but it will be interesting to see when this LO makes her own appearance.
Re: I thought I would be disappointed...
It's still early and I may change my mind, but I really don't want to go early or have to be induced. All the women in my family have gone right around their EDD's so I'm hoping that I have those genes. My mom is also convinced that because I had a shorter cycle (23-24 days rather than 28) that that correlates somehow to not going overdue.
