Reoccurring fever

My LO has been sick on and off for a week and a half. He seems to be fine for a couple of days and then spikes a fever between 100-101. He seems to have his fevers at daycare and then recovers when he comes home. IU kept him home four days and he didn't have a fever. Now today he goes back and has one. I confirmed it myself so I know they are correct. He does also have a cough and seems to be sleeping a lot. Any thoughts? We go to the pedi first thing tomorrow morning,

Re: Reoccurring fever

  • This is going to sound odd, but is it really warm at daycare?  The woman I worked with in the infant room would crank the heat up to between 75-80 because she felt that the warmth helped them sleep better.  Sometimes, we'd have kids wake up covered in sweat because of it.  We had a few kids that would register "fevers" because of this.  Is it possible that it's just too warm in the room for your LO?
