Hi Ladies! So yesterday at 11 dpo, I tested and got a faint BFP with a blue dye generic Target brand early pg test. I didn't realize I bought the blue dye ones until I got home. I heard they can be unreliable, so I was skepticle. I bought a couple of dollar tree tests. I took a dollar tree and the other blue dye test this morning with FMU. Negative on the dollar tree and maybe the faintest of lines on the blue dye (much fainter than yesterday).
I know I should wait a couple of days if AF doesn't show and test again. I'm just finding the uncertainty really frustrating. Has anyone known somebody who had a similar experience and it turned out for sure they were pg? I can't believe that a line is a line here - I've heard too many bad stories about blue dye false positives. I'm trying not to lose hope.

Re: False positive - help?
I had a real BFP with a generic brand blue dye early pregnancy test (mine was CVS brand) at 12 DPO. I took an early response with pink dye at the same time and the line was much fainter on that one.
If you wanted to try to test again today, you can "hold it" for a few hours. It's not as strong as FMU, but I was able to get a positive test in the afternoon this way on 12 DPO. If you are more patient, waiting until tomorrow morning would probably be best. A digital test sounds like it could give you the reassurance you're looking for.
Good luck!

The risk with the blue dye is typically reading it after the time limit, and reading the evaporation line. True false positives are still pretty rare.
Digital are much less sensitive than line tests... it may not put your mind at ease.
I recommend either First Response Early Results or Answer Early Results (a lot of girls swear by FRER) as pretty sensitive pink line tests. Buy a multi-pack and hold your urine for several hours today and test again. If BFN, test in the morning, and every few days until AF shows.
Good luck!
I'm going to make an AWESOME big brother.
