Our expecting ornament...

We put up our tree tonight and my husband's grandmother has gotten him an ornament that represents his life in the past year.  She's been doing this since he was born 28 years ago.  This year she gave us this one and I love it!

What a wonderful idea!  I wanna find an expecting ornament... but we're waiting to get an ornament, because we don't know if this Christmas will be an "expecting" Christmas, or "baby's first"!!

I *** both of y'alls.  My mom did the same thing for me and my sisters and now we are doing it for little one. I got one the other day with my mom but its not as cute as y'alls

I bought 3 crystal photo frame ornaments and put a photocopy of the sonogram in each one. I will give one to DH's mom and one to mine..the other is going on our tree )

Every year my mom has gotten me a new ornanment since I was born. This year it was on my must do list for baby knowing we'd have a baby by Christmas. There is a Christmas store in Walt Disney World (downtown Disney) and I knew they would have an adorable "Baby's First" ornament. It's pink says "baby's first christmas" with minnie mouse on top with a stack of blocks. We had her first name put on it in light pink, white and sparkly with flowers. It's adorable.

The one you have is super cute. I have been looking for one that I like that doesn't say Baby's First Christmas, but no luck yet.
