We are not positive on this, just throwing out names. This is finally one that we both don't hate.
We have Alexandra which we call Alex and Taylor. I wanted something that was unisex or at least a unisex nn. What about....
Kristine? nn Kris.
ETA: Of course we don't know baby's gender and do not plan to find out either.
Re: 3 girls names - WDYT?
He also vetoed Lane, Reese, Andrea (Andi) and probably more I am forgetting.
I like Kristine because you dont hear that name that much anymore.
I should say my name is Kristie & I was called Kris which I HATE. I finally got my family to call me by my full name.
Peyton
Bailey
Aubrey
Blair
Hayden
Jade
Kendall
Parker
Quinn
Reagan
I like Kristine, but I don't like Kris as a girl nn. Sorry
What about Charlotte, nn Charlie/Charley? Samantha, nn Sam?
Cole Joseph 7/05/07
Nora Anne 11/03/12
9lbs, 6oz
Charlotte is really nms and there is already a Sam in the family. DH has a HUGE family, so a lot of names are off limits.
I'm sure you're not meaning to come across this way but this post made it sound like you didn't like these names because they belonged to a child who has special needs. I know there are moms on this board who have chidren with specials needs and I wouldn't want them to take offense to this.
I think that is a minor inconvience. It is not sealed, but we are noy doing Krystine, so anything too crazy!
Not trying to be offensive at all. My apologies if I come off as such. Just name associations. I actually liked Jordan and DH was the one that pointed out the kid across the street was name that (they aren't social neighbors).
It's just okay, imo. I don't love it, don't hate it.
Have you considered Francesca, with a nn of Frankie?
This.
And I don't like the nickname. At all.
You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.
Um, what? Yikes I hope I'm interpreting this incorrectly.
I already apologized. I guess I should have just said I know 2 kids with those names and left it at that.
Yeah, that's really what you should have done. Also, have you ever heard of people first language? I'm not trying to attack you, but I always cringe when I read or hear "downs syndrome girl/child/boy." She's a little girl who has Down syndrome. Her name is Riley.
Anyway good luck picking a name! I do like the names you are thinking of, by the way.
My DD's are friends with girls name Ryan and Devon. You could even add an E at the end of Ryan...Ryane? Carter? Kennedy?
Was set on Ryan and our friends had a baby boy and named him Ryan, so we really don't want to steal it. Devon and Drew are still up there though.
