I need a bottle, I mean glass, of wine...(vent)

Today has been one thing after another and I just need to vent about it.

First, Tess usually STTN or only gets up to eat and then goes right back down, but at 2:30am she decided to cry for an hour, sleep for 30 min, then cry for another hour.  She was fed, changed, rocked, etc. but apparently was still mad about something.

Then we went to cut down a Christmas tree for the first time, and all of the trees that were left on the lot were crappy, so we bought a pre-cut one.  Tess screamed the whole time.  Then we came home and rearranged the entire living/dining room to accomodate the tree (the dining room table is now in my bedroom because we live in an apartment and there is only so much room for stuff!)

Then my husband goes to work at 5, and Tess continues to be fussy because she napped terribly all day, and then bath time was a fail for the 3rd time this week.  She used to love the bath, but now screams like it is painful and we have no idea why.  And while I'm bathing her, half of the fuses in the apartment blow.  Luckily, one of the bathroom lights still worked.  So, my DH came home from work to fix the fuses (because you have to go outside and downstairs to even get to the fuse box and I have no idea what to do anyway.)

So, Tess is sleeping, hopefully for the night, and I want to curl up with the covers over my head (so I can't see the huge mess in here!) but I have a ton of work to do for the Christmas-giving drive I volunteered to organize.

Sorry, that was a lot of whining, but I do feel much better now.

Ugh. Definitely sounds like a tough day. Take a few minutes to decompress, then if you're ready, get some work done. I'm sending good sleep vibes your way.

I'm sorry. I hope you are having a glass of wine.  For the bath is it too cold in the room? Ethan needed it to be like a sauna in the room when we would bath him.  Now he could care less as long as he is in the water.

Ditto to this - the wine....but most of all the warm bathroom. We had to put a little heater in ours. We also put a changing pad up on the sink and did all the dressing in there.
