What are your plans for New Years Eve?

Anyone throwing a party or going to one?  DH and I are planning on staying in this year.  We may go out to dinner but nothing big.  What's everyone else doing?

Re: What are your plans for New Years Eve?

  • We stayed in last year, and were in bed by 11, I loved it. We'll see if its the same this year, so far, I'm all about that. Maybe a nice dinner out first?

  • ZZZzzzzZZZZzzzZZZzzz same thing as last year
  • fondue-ing with MIL, SIL and GmaIL.  Everyone else is going up to the mountains for new years eve, but we won't be going with them.  And MIL and SIL fly out the next morning, so it'll be nice to just have a low key evening with them before they leave!  We probably won't even stay up until Midnight!!! haha
  • Honestly, I haven't thought of it till this minute!  I have no idea!
  • Seeing as New Year's Eve is 6 days before my due date, we have no plans. Other than maybe trying OWT to get labor started Big Smile

  • Hopefully celebrating it with my hubby and brand new son or daughter!!!  :):):)

  • I hope to be taking care of sweet baby girl...or maybe in labor....but I'll be a little ticked if I'm still pregnant! Haha.
  • We'll be laying low with our newborn babe. No major plans for us this year!

It does happen to be our 5th wedding anniversary, though. So I'm sure we'll share a toast and order in something romantic...like pizza. Smile

  • Hopefully toasting with a nice glass of champagne and staring at my new little baby!!
  • I seriously hope I will be holding my little boy by then!

  • hopefully going into labor or working on delivery baby #2.  due date is so far right on schedule for Jan. 2 or 3.  if no labor or delivery then probably enjoying a glass of champagne, a bath, and watching the ball drop on tv while i contemplate life and the fun 2010 is gonna bring!!!    we typically stay in cook a fancy meal-think bacon wrapped steak, stuffed mushrooms, some seafood etc. and play games or watch movies

  • We got AMAZING tickets to Old Crow Medicine Show in downtown Nashville.  We'll probably hit up a hibachi grill before we drop off LO at DH's parents house.  We are very tight on Christmas this year since I've been on bedrest without pay since August so this is our Christmas present to each other.  We are SO excited!!!
  • Hopefully hanging out with the little one!  She better be here by the end of the month or mommy will be sad!
  • Since I will be about to pop with LO.. prob sitting on my butt at home, maybe dinner out.  Maybe holding LO if she decides to make an early appearance.
  • i think we will also go out to dinner and make it our last special date night together.
  • DH will be at work and I will be home alone as usual. He will call me at midnight and then I'll go to bed.
  • I'm sure I'll be up at midnight with LO, but thats probably it! she'll only be 2-3 weeks old so not old enough to have a couple people over, and not old enough to go out!
  • Nothing too exciting, just hanging out at the house. Really hoping this baby decides to come a little early so we can ring in the new year as a family!
  • We'll be going to a party at our friends house this year.  It was either that or DH would've made us throw a party.

I doubt I'll ever have one of those quiet "just us" New Year's...

peeking in from 2nd tri but im so jealous, i love old crow med show

  • We have no plans except to stay close to home.  I wouldn't be sad if we're at the hospital having our little gal a little bit early! Wink
  • Well...it's my birthday AND our anniversary so I'd like to do something, but as of now I have to work till 9:30 pm. Hard to even make dinner plans with this schedule! Ugh. Everyone please keep your fingers crossed that they give me the day off...I put in the requset, but so did alot of people...
  • No clue yet.  Usually we go to Chicago for dinner, but I doubt we'll do that with a baby that's less than a month old.  We'll probably get a sitter for our two toddlers and take the baby with us to go out to eat.  That's my birthday, so we HAVE to do something.

  • Lol, it will be a week before our c-section, so we are getting take-out and watching the ball drop.  And drinking sparkling grape juice :).

  • Ever since we have had children, we stay in. Never was much into New Year's anyhow. We always wait for midnight and then toast and go to bed. Hopefully, this year I will be in labor or already holding our newest bundle.
  • Well I am scheduled to work an overnight shift. (7p-7a) If our census is low, I might get to stay at home and spend the first NYE night with DH ever. If I do stay home, I will end up going to sleep early (I'm sure of it!) I hope that the babies aren't here yet!
