My ob/gyn is awesome. Her name is Dr. Joanne Lim. She has an office in Towson at St. Joseph's Hospital and an office in Parkville. I go to her Towson office and the # there is 410-825-7000.I think they schedule appointments for both offices if you call that #. She is in a practice with her mother and sister. I have also seen her sister, Dr. Elaine Lim. She seemed very nice and knowledgable too.
Dr. Joanne assisted my old gyn with surgery I had for PCOS and endometriosis last November. That was the first time I met her. After I got pregnant, my old gyn told me he doesn't deliver babies anymore and I was very upset. I liked him a lot and was already comfortable with him and at first I was devastated that I had to see someone else. He recommended Dr. Lim to me and I couldn't have been happier with my birth experience.
She is very thorough in answering questions and never rushes you during appointments. I had some problems with my pregnancy and ended up having a scheduled C-section which I was super nervous about. Dr. Lim was great and did everything she could to pout me at ease. She even held my hands in the OR when they were putting in the spinal.
I highly recommend her. She may be a little farther than you were looking to travel, but if you don't mind going to Towson/Parkville, she is awesome and I will definitely see her again with any future pregnancies.
Capital City Women's Care in Towson...also have an office in Bel Air. They do have 1 male dr in the practice though (all other dr's are women), so might not be for you if you have an issue with that.

With that said, Dr. Giudice (the male) is super sweet and friendly and makes you feel comfortable.

I live in Ellicott City and go to Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in Columbia. ?There are 3 female OBs 1 male OB, and a female midwife. ?The male OB is really great. ?When I first started going there, I thought I wanted a female doc, but ended up with the male doc and ended up really liking him. I saw him for about half of my OB appointments and he delivered my daughter. ?The three female docs are also great (I saw them all throughout my pregnancy). ?I highly recommend the practice!
Yes! They are in Owings Mills and they are the best practice ever! Every single woman I know personally goes to them. It is Dr. Pearlman, Faber, Zaft, Kates..etc. From a pregnancy standpoint alone, they are amazing! I have seen every doctor in the practice, and I loved all of them. Dr. Kates delivered my son, and I also really really liked Dr. Zaft. They will do anything for their patients, and they are very proactive in everything that they do when you are trying to get pregnant and pregnant. Can't say enough good things about them! Good luck
