So, IUI #1 = fail. Have been feeling crampy the past few days, and wouldn't you know who shows up today...EIGHT days ahead of schedule. Looks like the drugs totally threw off my cycle.
This is really disappointing. You go in knowing the odds are slim, but you still have a glimmer of hope. And you're PAYING for all of this science, so it's hard to digest WHY it doesn't work. I mean, do the spermies need a formal invitation? I just don't get it. Now testing day will be CD 3 and we'll begin the whole process again.
::sigh::
Re: Well, it was a bust
Oh no Strunella.. I am sorry. {{HUGS}}
I agree with the paying for the science. I had a dream the other night that my RE purposely didn't put in the sperm just put in water so that I had to do it again. Just because he needed the money.. (I don't think that but...)
ONWARD, sister!
Yeah, are you sure it's AF?
Sorry to hear this...I will pray the next one will be the successful one!
IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again
Im so sorry honey. BFNs suck even more after paying all that money for the hope. Sending hugs.
I'm so sorry for this outcome, Strunella. You're in my thoughts and hoping for the best with round 2. Hugs to you!
I'm so sorry. {{{big hugs}}}
I really hope IUI #2 give you your sticky bfp!

Are you sure it's AF? I had some bleeding early on too... that is really early for AF. I hope you are wrong!
I'm so sorry. I totally get how frustrating it is to spend all this money and put your body all thorugh this for nothing.
In a weird way, though, I think this whole process has made me have compassion for other people struggling w/medical issues. I know when my dad was going through chemo. he expressed similar frustration - a lot of pain for no guarantee of sucess - fortunatly for him - the chemo. did put his cancer in remission. So - that's my weird positive spin for the day.
Sorry to hear this Strunella. ::hugs:: from me too.
Hang in there -- onward!

I am so sorry to hear that. But I will say, the 8 days ahead of schedule makes me wonder if it really is AF. Are you sure?
If not this time, my friend, I hope you get your BFP very soon.
