Thanks for thinking of me yesterday. I had to work all day so I was unable to check up on the board. 

Yes, Justin did get his airport base assignment yesterday evening and we got our first choice of Columbus, Ohio. It is a bittersweet thing for us right now. There is so much to pray about and discern. We are looking at 3 options: staying here and having Justin commute, moving to Columbus, or moving back to MD to be near family and Justin would commute from there. He will be starting at his new base in January. I think we are going to see how commuting goes for the first few weeks since we would not be out of here that quickly anyway. In the meantime we are just going to weigh out our options.

    Good luck hon! I'm glad you gus got your first choice. Columbus is how far from here? 5 hours? And how far is it to Maryland from there? I am not good with geography. I know Maryland isn't as far away as I think it is though. :)

    How can a company give such short notice to people with families & houses? Ya know? Well Im glad in this economy that it was just a move, not a lay off! (That was DHs wisdom when I was whining about you having to move, lol)

    Columbus is 5 hours and MD is 8 hours....5 hours isnt too bad incase you girls want to do a weekend GTG if we move ;)

    Where in MD are you from?  I grew up in Frederick if you know where that is.

    Yes I know Frederick! I have friends from there. I was living in Annapolis before we moved to Buffalo.
