do crib manufacturers sell only the headboard & footboard by chance?

or what do you do with the side pieces once you convert dc to the twin or full size bed?  Dh and I would like to reuse these if we can find just the head board & foot board to go with it.

I know Munire sells the pieces.  DS's footboard got trashed by our cat scratching it before he was even born!  So, I called to see if we could just get that and they said yes.  We are waiting until DS is out of the 'chewing on the crib' stage, though. lol

Awesome!  Our crib was Munire (dd's now using the head and footboard for her full size bed).  Do you know how much the pieces cost and do you call the manufacturer direct or order through company that caries their furniture?

I don't know the cost.  But, I think you're *supposed* to order through the retailer, not the manufacturer.
