Library and story time rules???

If you go to the library and to story time, what are 'the rules'?

We tried to go this morning and it ended in all three of use leaving in tears.

The biggest one I can think of is to be relatively quiet.  If Rosie wants to run around or not pay attention or stand when everyone else is sitting but she's being quiet that's fine with me.  At ours, that's pretty much how it goes.

Honestly, I think it depends on the librarian.  When we first started going, G was the older one in the group and was crawling like crazy!  She had no problem that he was all over the place and constantly babbling.  When he had to move to the next group, with a different librarian, she was constantly saying to him (and others) 'you have to go sit down with your mommy.'  Well, sitting isn't exactly in Gavin's vocabulary, especially when he'd just figured out walking!  After several weeks, we stopped going.  I miss it, but we do our own story time now.  I'm sorry it was a bad experience.
