right now i'm using a Fleurville Mothership and really like it.
I get a new bag every season almost... since I don't buy purses anymore I have used some pricey bags, and some cheap ones... I really like the Mothership- have used it since June... will probably keep using it through the winter at least.
my favorite bag when the boys were little was the petunia picklebottom backpack. it was plenty big enough for three of everything, and i LOVED the built in changing pad. that thing saved my hide too many times to count!
I just ordered the petunia pickle bottom boxy backpack (found it on sale at duematernity dot com and also found a 10% off coupon for the site). I checked it out at a store the other day and it was really nice and can be worn as a backpack or on the shoulder. You can also buy clips that will attach to the stroller (solves the problem of other diaper bag straps not being long enough to wrap around a side by side stroller handle). I must say it didn't look THAT big inside and I'll probably have to cut down on the amount of my own stuff that I carry (like carry a smaller wallet, etc.), but I think it will be great. I may also get another larger bag for longer trips.
I bought a Coach Hamptons Weekend diaper bag tote almost a year ago when I found out I was pregnant, before I m/c.... it's huuuge, so it'll be perfect for when the twins come... plus the material is awesome& it wipes down with soap & water so it'll be easy to keep clean.... even though I bought it an their outlet it was still $200 and some, at least it wasn't $400...probably npt the most cost effective choice since it is ONLY a diaper bag... but i LOVE it!
